-
It is not a scary tour. There is no one that Ernie is aware of in the French Quarter that will jump out at you with a knife, axe, or chainsaw. If this happens, that is real, and you should run.
-
Ernie hopes not. Every horror movie he has seen the black guy dies first. If Ernie could make ghosts appear he would not be conducting tours. He would be somewhere else making a lot more money than he is making now, but feel free to take pictures.
-
We will walk no more than one mile during the tour at a leisurely pace with a break mid-way through the tour.
-
No, these are private residences. The French Quarter is a neighborhood. You will be able to enter a bar at the break mid-way through the tour.
-
The tour operates rain or shine unless there is a tropical storm or hurricane. Please wear appropriate clothing, shoes and bring an umbrella if needed.
-
We strongly recommend taking the Canal Streetcar Line or other transportation. Please allow sufficient time for travel.

For years Ernie has heard tour operators claim they are the #1 tour company because they have best tour guides or master storytellers in the city. With over 18 years of experience, Ernie now believes it is best for you to go directly to the tour guide, after all, it is your tour guide that makes the difference. When you meet Ernie you will see that his personality makes him an ambassador of the city. The connection that Ernie makes with guests has lead to great friendships. You will wish that all your travel destinations had a guide that knows and loves the city as well as Ernie does New Orleans.
